Researchers in the Cockrell School of Engineering partner with many organizations — from the National Science Foundation to the Austin-based Army Futures Command —  on a variety of battery and energy-storage projects every year. Last year, the university engaged with over 350 commercial entities. In addition to several industry partners, our current government and nonprofit battery research partners include:
